Pickled Onion Monster Munch

I was most pleased to recently find out that Monster Munch still exists. I bought a bag of twelve packs in my most recent order from Ocado.

Unfortunately I am somewhat disappointed. The "Flamin' Hot" and "Roast Beef" flavours are pretty good. But my old favourite, the Pickled Onion flavour, is but a pale imitation of what it used to be. It used to have real bite to it back when I were a lad. But now it has a hint of sourness and sweetness, and that's it.

Did you get the ones which have recently appeared that say on the packet "like they used to be/old receipe", complete with the original big pictures of the creatures on the front? I've only seen them in single packs in newsagents and not multi-packs - but they DO taste like the old zinger-smack-your-lips of my youth...!

Ahh, no, I didn't. That's irritating. I shall have to find some Proper Monster Munch and write another review!
