Older stuff

LA17UCJ is a Toyota Yaris, which replaced the Hilux I had previously. Back when I got a Hilux I only got such an over-sized vehicle because back then if you wanted a car that could fit a normal adult as opposed to a midget you either needed a big car or an expensive car. I was expecting to have to do the same again, but was pleasantly surprised to find that normal sized people can now fit in normal sized cars.

LC04NRL was a Toyota Hilux, which was nowhere near as much fun as the Landrover 101 Forward Control I used to have. It was, however, a damned sight easier to keep going, and a lot cheaper to run. Because some of you asked for 'em, here's some pics I took of it when I took it to visit some sheep in Scotland. It looks disgustingly clean in these photos. Some numpty managed the hard feat of writing it off by driving into the back of it while it was parked and knackering the suspension.

PYD450P was a Land Rover 101 Forward Control. It is (I believe) the largest production model made by Land Rover, designed for the British army who wanted an air-transportable all-terrain vehicle capable of carrying a tonne and towing a heavy load. Only 2669 were ever manufactured. I sold it during a period of unemployment as I couldn't afford the petrol - 7 miles per gallon! - to keep the lady in the manner she deserved.
