Heresy

Last night was a London Perl Mongers Heretics' meet at the Founders' Arms. There's something very satisfying about wandering up to the bar and asking for twenty pints of Special. That just doesn't happen at the normal meets.

A few of us went to the restaurant at Vinopolis afterwards. I had beetroot something-or-other for a very good starter, and lamb something-or-other for the main, which was also good. Some of the other main courses would have made excellent starters too if they did smaller servings, especially the black pudding and chorizo.
