BT in getting-something-right shocker

Some time in the early hours of Thursday, my phone line died. By the time I noticed I was at work and couldn't do anything about it and in any case, I just thought that it was my DSL router that had crashed. But when I got home at midnight after going to the pub, I found no phone service at all. Phoned BT on my mobile at about half past midnight to report the fault, and then at 10-ish this morning the BT guy came round to fix it. He diagnosed a fault in the exchange, and by early evening it was fixed. Good service!
